Initial Deposit:

Second Deposit:
A $150 non-refundable deposit is due October 18th, 2026
Bookings on or after September 7th:
A $200 non-refundable deposit per person is required at the time of booking
Monthly Payments:
$200 monthly payments are due on the last day of each month beginning December 2026 through April 2027
Remaining balance due in full May 30th, 2027
Failure to submit payment by 11:59 PM on the applicable due date will result in automatic cancellation of your reservation

✈️ Departure Flight Recommendation:
This is a 5 day, 4-night experience.
On Day 5, travelers are encouraged to select an evening or nighttime departure from Nairobi if possible. This will allow you to enjoy as much of the final day as possible before heading to the airport as there are itinerary-related (optional) activities on day 5.
While you are welcome to select the flight itinerary that works best for you, please keep in mind that choosing an earlier departure may require you to miss some of the final day’s activities.
Fortunately, many international flights departing Nairobi for the U.S. already leave during the evening or nighttime hours, making it easier to maximize your time in Kenya.
🦒 OPTIONAL PRE-TRIP EXPERIENCE AT GIRAFFE MANOR:
Dreaming of breakfast with the giraffes? You may book an optional overnight stay at the world-famous Giraffe Manor prior to the official start of our group trip, arriving at least one day prior.
WUHU will provide guidance regarding recommended arrival dates, flight timing, availability and booking logistics for travelers interested in adding Giraffe Manor, including assistance with coordinating/booking the reservation process and pre-trip logistics upon request at no additional charge.
Please note that Giraffe Manor is not included in the trip package price, is booked separately and has extremely limited availability. We strongly recommend expressing interest as early as possible via email.

-Airport code: NBO [Jomo Kenyatta International Airport]
-Travelers must have at least 6 months of passport validity remaining from the date of arrival in Kenya and adequate blank passport pages for entry
-A Kenya Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is currently required for U.S. passport holders and must be approved prior to travel. WUHU will provide additional guidance regarding the eTA process prior to departure
-No specific vaccine is currently required for travelers arriving directly from the United States to Kenya
-Standard hotel incidental hold may apply
-*Roundtrip ground airport transportation is included if complete flight information is received no later than May 21st, 2027. Travelers submitting flight information after this deadline may be responsible for arranging and paying for their own airport transportation
-Men and women over the age of 21 are welcome to book
-Roommate pairing will be available until May 16th, 2027. After this date, travelers will be responsible for securing their own roommate or paying the applicable single-occupancy rate
-Travel insurance is highly recommended, and we encourage travelers to consider providers such as Seven Corners or Allianz
-Entry, passport, health and vaccination requirements are subject to change. Each traveler is ultimately responsible for ensuring they meet all requirements applicable to their citizenship, travel history and individual itinerary
✨ Itinerary:
-The official/final itinerary will be provided approximately 45 days prior to departure. The activities listed above provide an overview of what is included in the vacation package, along with additional #TaeDay celebration experiences.
The itinerary will intentionally include downtime for guests to relax or explore Nairobi on their own, along with WUHU-curated recommendations for additional sightseeing, dining, shopping, nightlife and optional things to do enjoy during free time. Please estimate and budget approx. $300+/- additional (optional) activities to be paid later.
-All itinerary details are subject to change based on availability, weather, local conditions and other operational factors.
Pre-Departure Communication:
-Trip subgroup will be created approximately two months before this trip
-Our pre-departure meeting will take place around the one month to departure mark
-Group chat via WhatsApp will be created the week of the trip
-Trip leader either virtual or physical will be assigned within 60 days of arrival

-Making a reservation signifies that you agree to all payment terms and conditions including but not limited to: all deposits, payments and sales are non-refundable and non-transferable.
